About Us

MutedMusic is a blog that showcases musicians, producers, writers, arrangers, and composers whose music doesn't fit within the boundaries of mainstream music, make Billboard charts, or get radio airplay.    As much as we all love Beyonce, Coldplay, and Kanye West, they certainly aren't the only musical artists in the world, and neither is their music. This blog is meant to give recognition to musicians that experiment and innovate, as opposed to producing music to fit into pop culture trends at the moment.  This blog is meant to expose people to music and artists that they otherwise might have never come across by turning on VH1 or the radio.
